My name is Julie and I'm a manufacturing-field project engineer and living in the sunny So-Cal. I LOVE sales and happy hour, hence the name of this blog. Hardly having anyone to talk about beauty and fashion in a male-dominant industry, I started the blog in March 2017 as a creative outlet for the things I love, especially pretty shoes and bags ;)

In 2014, I started my journey of pursuing natural beauty products, healthier living, and better buying. I love discovering new natural/organic beauty products that are a fraction of the price of the name brands packed with toxins. As I learn more about Lean Six Sigma in my professional life, I started to notice muda (waste) in my personal life and embraced the philosophy of "buy less, buy better." Well... I can't say I've mastered "buying less," but I'm certainly buying better.

Here, you will find my new beauty obsessions, latest purchases, sales recommendations, easy food recipes, and any tips on shopping, travelling, and more. I will try to be as informative and concise as I can. If you have any requests or questions, please let me know.
