WTF? Designer Pieces

Hello friends, Happy Friday!

Sorry for not posting for a while, work and traveling have been a handful recently! I will be posting less frequently (maybe once a week) in the next couple of weeks, but I do have a few interesting posts planned - starting with today's!

As a luxury and fashion lover, I love the design and quality of luxury items and find them to be worth the splurge most of the time. Other times, I find ones that make me scratch my head and wonder why anyone would buy them. So today, I'm sharing with you 10 WTF? designer pieces that I think are unattractive or just expensive for the sake of being designer. Fashion can be very subjective, so these are my opinions, not to be offensive, if you love any of these items. Rock what you wear and what you love. You do you, girl! :)

1. Loewe Meccano Double Pin Bag Charm ($290):
I understand bag charms can be expensive (think Fendi, which starts around $600), but this one doesn't look attractive or worth the price tag in my opinion.

2. Loewe Toast Hat ($650):
One must love bread so much to want to wear this hat. And $650? No, thank you!

NYFW: Runway Looks I Love

Hello friends, finally Friday! :D

This week just feels like one of those weeks that are NEVER going to end. Do you ever get that feeling too? To celebrate the weekend, today I'm showing you Runway looks I love from New York Fashion Week (NYFW), where I'd rather be. Well, not that I'll ever get the opportunity, but one can always dream!

NYFW went from 9/7 to 9/13 and showcased Spring 2018 Ready-to-Wear's from various designers. I've included looks from the following designers, which you can click to view the entire collection. All photos below are from VOGUE or ELLE.

My Skincare Routine (Summer 2017)

Hello friends, today we are talking about one of my favorite topics -- skincare!

As much as I love makeup (especially from Charlotte Tilbury), I'm a firm believer that good skin is the foundation for any makeup look.

Nature gives you the face you have at twenty; it is up to you to merit the face you have at fifty! – Coco Chanel

Growing up, I watch my mom always take her time putting on her skincare products at night, layer by layer. She looks great for her age btw and doesn't wear any makeup! While I never had that much patience with my skincare, over the years I've found a routine that works for me and discovered many brands with clean/natural ingredients. So today, I'm sharing with you my morning and evening skincare routine, what I save vs. splurge on, and lastly, where I buy my skincare products.
