I've been in China for a little over a week now and FINALLY figured out how to access Blogger, which is blocked, along with Facebook, Instagram and others. After installing an VPN app on my phone on my second day, I can use Facebook and Instagram again. It took me a lot longer to figure out the VPN on my laptop, but I'm so glad to be back and writing again!
Today, I'm sharing with you belated swatches of the Charlotte Tilbury's (abbreviated as CT below) Instant Look in a Palette Beauty Glow ($75) and the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk ($34). I purchased both from Nordstrom around the same time as my Sephora VIB Sale Haul. Right now, Triple Points is going on until 5/7 and there's also a Gift with Purchase if you spend $125 or more on CT.

In case you're not familiar with CT, she is a UK makeup artist for some of the hottest celebrities in the beauty and fashion industry. In 2015, she was awarded InStyle "Makeup Artist of the Year" and was presented the award by Kim K.W (read more here). You can read her bio on her website.
She also has a YouTube channel with makeup tutorials showcasing her products. I love watching her tutorials. She looks so confident and charming, working her makeup magic to make the model look even more fabulous. And she always calls her viewers Darlings. Just to name a few of her popular products: Lip Cheat Re-Size & Re-Shape Lip Liner in Pillow Talk ($22), 'Filmstar Bronze & Glow' Face Sculpt & Highlight ($68), Charlotte's Magic Cream Treat & Transform Moisturizer ($100). Last year, she released 12 shades of 'Hot Lips' Lipsticks ($34) in collaboration with celebrities such as Kim K.W, Cindy Crawford, Kate Bosworth, Victoria Beckham etc. Needless to say, I'm a huge CT makeup fan ;).

But after swatching and blending them side by side, it's clear that they are the same. The sales associate explained that Filmstar was machine pressed, whereas Instant Look was hand made.

Additional Info:
- Instant Look in a Palette Beauty Glow was listed as Nordstrom-exclusive, but I think it's just limited edition and also available on her website.
- The Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk launched in UK earlier this year and I'm so excited it's finally here in US. On her website, there are pictures of people with different skintones wearing this lipstick, so you can get a better idea how it'll look on you.
- CT is also available on Net-a-Porter.

Blushes: 6, 5 |
The blush shade 5 reminds me a lot of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Blushed Copper ($34), which I love using in the summer with some tan. Becca is more copper and shimmery, but they look quite similar once blended.

I was told by the sales associate that the Bronze and Highlight (4 and 7) in this palette (abbreviated as Instant Look below) are mini versions of the 'Filmstar Bronze & Glow' Face Sculpt & Highlight (abbreviated as Filmstar below). I was quite skeptical, as Filmstar certainly looks darker.

Lastly, the Pillow Talk lipstick with the matching liner (which desperately needs to be sharpened):
I hope you'll find this helpful if you are considering purchasing these items (especially during Triple Points). I'm wearing both in my last post -- VB for Target and I'll keep you updated once I've used them longer.Next post will be a Mother's Day Gift Guide, if my Internet and VPN continue to work with me (fingers crossed). Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! :)
