I'm in Texas for work this week and it's been so nice and warm that I'm seriously craving some pool time. Well, I did spend some time last weekend in my friend's apartment roof-top pool drinking margaritas and wearing swimsuit #2 below. Today, I'm sharing my current obsession with BECCA one-piece swimsuits as a bonus post this week. Friday's post will be travel-related. Now onto the BECCA swimsuits!
I came across this (1) BECCA Color Play One-Piece Swimsuit (on sale, $79.06) during Nordstrom's Triple Points. At first I wasn't sure about the color, but when I tried it on, I loved it! The cut is super flattering and slimming and the color looked great on my skin tone without being too sexy (like black). One-piece swimsuits are so easy to wear and glide over the tummy area, which I'm always self-conscious about. Currently, only the Henna color is on sale, but it also comes in 3 other colors ($118).
Well, the sale price wasn't too bad, but it's certainly a little more than I would have liked. Then the light bulb went up in my head, why don't I check Nordstrom Rack and see if they have anything from last season? Hence, Find #2.
(2) Aura One-Piece Swimsuit ($39.95, sold out): This is what I wore to my friend's apartment pool last weekend and received a lot of compliments. I love the fun print and twisted detail in the back, while still remains conservative overall so that I can wear it to a public pool. Unfortunately it's sold out online, but you might still be able to find it at your local Nordstrom Rack with the Style #501067. If you love the Aura print, it's still available in a cover up ($24.97) and a bikini bottom ($19.97).
I would like to point out though, with the two pieces I have, they don't provide any push-up or too much support. This is not an issue for me, but it might be an issue if you have larger chest.
After the positive experience with my first two one-piece swimsuits from BECCA, I've added the following three to my wishlist. I plan on trying them on if I see them in my local Nordstrom or order them online once they go on sale.
What do you think of one-piece swimsuits? Will you be adding any to your collection for the spring/summer?
