I've been waiting for this ever since the last sale in April. Now imagine all the amazing gift sets you can get on sale! Some stores are even playing Christmas music; it really is the best time to shop. Today is the last day of VIB Rouge first access. The sale will be available to everyone starting this Friday 11/10.
Below, I'll be sharing with you the sale info, what I picked up over the weekend, shopping & money-saving tips, recommendations and lastly, what else is on my wishlist. So without further ado, let's start with the basics:
- VIB Rouge: 20% off with code 20FORROUGE (11/3 - 11/6, 11/10 - 11/15)
- VIB: 20% off with code 20FORVIB (11/10 - 11/15)
- Beauty Insider: 15% off with code INSIDER15 (11/10 - 11/15)
A few things to let you know before we get started:
- This is a collective haul from 5 Sephora's (before you freak out!) last weekend, I went to:
- Two locations on Friday, each with a free-standing Sephora and a Sephora Inside JCPenney (abbr as SIJ below)
- One SIJ on Saturday
- I also made two online orders. I haven't received them, but I will share with you what I ordered.
- As you might have known by now, my skincare routine (see my last one here) is fairly clean/natural, so you won't see a lot of mainstream/well-known skincare brands here. However, I still treat myself to a few luxury or non-clean makeup items. Keep scrolling to see what goodies I got! :)
Here's everything I picked up on Friday:
I've been using a deluxe sample of this BRIOGEO Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray ($20) in my recent travels and have really been loving it! I started to look into this brand and found it's quite natural/clean. This Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($36) seems to be a cult-favorite and also won this year's Readers' Choices awards from Allure magazine. So I got this set, which included the hair mask and 3 other mini's to try for $3 more. It's also nicely-packaged, if you want to give one away as gifts.
I've been breaking out more around that time of the month, so I wanted to get something to help with that. I've used several products from Herbivore and want to give this little set a try.
3. SUNDAY RILEY Luna Sleeping Night Oil ($110 for 1oz, $55 for 0.5oz)
4. SUNDAY RILEY U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil ($80 for 1oz, $40 for 0.5oz)
I repurchased another Luna Oil and also decided to try this UFO for my breakouts, both in the 0.5oz. Like Luna, UFO also has color, but it goes away as you massage it into your skin.
4. KAT VON D Studded Kiss Lipstick ($12) in "Mother" (Limited Edition)
5. Marc Jacobs' Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick Collector's Edition in "Purr-fect" ($30)
I'm a sucker for gorgeous and limited edition packaging... Apparently, this limited edition Kat Von D lipstick has been out and on sale for a while, so it's pretty much sold out everywhere. I was lucky enough to track down one at a SIJ. Don't worry if you can no longer find this lipstick. You can still get this shade in a mini lipstick and a liquid lipstick in this KAT VON D Mother Of All Mini Lipstick Duo ($11).
How purr-fect is this leopard Marc Jacobs case? The magnetic closure feels so luxurious and satisfying. This lipstick sold out online so quickly that I regretted not staying up to order it at midnight or first thing Friday morning. I was over-the-moon thrilled to find this in stores! In fact, both of the (free-standing) Sephora's I went to on Friday had these in stock. So definitely check out your local Sephora, if you are on the hunt for one!
6. KAT VON D Studded Kiss Lipstick ($12) in "Bauhau5":
I picked up another Kat Von D lipstick at a different SIJ on Saturday. For some reasons, my 20% discount didn't work on either of the Kat Von D lispsticks at SIJ. I was happy to pay the $12 regardless, given how hard to find these shades are. Sephora's website still has a few shades left and the 20% code does work on there!

Unfortunately, most Burberry is online-only, so this is what I ordered for myself:
- BURBERRY Liquid Lip Velvet Set
- BURBERRY Eye Colour - Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in "Mulberry" and "Midnight Brown"
I ordered this set (currently sold out) for my mom:
- Use rebate websites, such as Ebates and Mr. Rebates, when shopping online (currently at 2.5% and 4% rebates respectively).
- SIJ carries different Sephora Favorites kits from Sephora and often times, even better value!
- Even if it's sold out on Sephora's website, you can still use "Find In Store" to see if any store carries it. Just call beforehand to make sure!
- Use gift cards. Look for e-gift cards so that you can use right away. I use Gift Card Granny to search for gift cards.
- SIJ accepts both Sephora and JCPenney gift cards, but JCPenney gift cards will usually have bigger savings.
- For this haul, I saved another ~6% with Sephora and 11% with JCPenny gift cards .
- You can also order from SIJ online.
Amazing gift sets $100 and under (most $50 and under!)
- SUNDAY RILEY Bright Young Thing Visible Skin Brightening Kit ($90)
- SUNDAY RILEY Power Couple Duo: Total Transformation Kit ($85)
- Kiehl's x Kate Moross Midnight Must-Haves ($76)
- SUNDAY RILEY Space Race Fight Acne, Oil + Pores at Warp Speed Kit ($65)
- BECCA Après Ski Glow Face Palette ($54)
- YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE Fresh Pressed Superfood Skin Kit ($54)
- JOSIE MARAN Best of Argan Skincare Revivers ($52)
- DIOR Rouge Dior Mini Lipstick Set ($50)
- BRIOGEO Rosarco Repair Winter Hair Renewal ($48)
- FARMACY Honey Harvest Kit ($45)
- FARMACY Perennial Picks Skincare Discovery Kit ($45)
- MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Cat's Meow Five-Piece Petite Le Marc Lip Crème Collection ($45)
- ILIA Love Me Do Gift ($42)

- HERBIVORE Coco Rose Luxe Hydration Trio ($39)
- MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Snake Charmer 5-Piece Petite Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Collection ($39)
- LAURA MERCIER Mode To Modern Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection ($38)
- KAT VON D Best Of Studded Kiss Lipstick Trio ($36): All full-size!
- BURBERRY Beauty Box ($35)
- KAT VON D Saint Lipstick + Fragrance Travel Duo ($27)
The only thing left on my wishlist is this JO MALONE LONDON Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne. I can't decide if I should get the 3.4 or 1oz... The 3.4oz is obviously a better value for money, but will I be able to use it all? Whereas, I'll go through the 1oz pretty fast. However, given Jo Malone doesn't have the best lasting power, maybe a bigger bottle won't be a bad idea?
So that wraps up my Sephora VIB Rouge sale (for now)! What are you getting from this sale?
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you find this post helpful and happy shopping! :)
